Pharmacy Technician Program
Elizabeth Seton is the only college preparatory high school in Maryland that is officially approved by the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy for its Pharmacy Technician program.
Available to senior students who have completed Seton’s Health Sciences course as a prerequisite, this year-long program provides students with basic knowledge and practices in pharmacology and the roles and responsibilities of a pharmacy technician in both community-based and hospital pharmacies. Students complete 160 hours of work experience as externs with community-based and hospital pharmacies and upon completion of externships, students are eligible to apply for Maryland State licensure as a Pharmacy Technician.
