DC Horn Choir Camp
DC HORN CHOIR CAMP
June 10th - June 14th || Time: 6:30pm-9:30pm.
High school Hornists through Adults are invited to join us for an exciting week of rehearsals, masterclasses, and performances at the DC Horn Choir Camp. Join us for an educational and fun week of learning about the horn, playing in large ensembles, and working with some of the best. This year's camp will feature Ken Bell, Principal Horn of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra and Lancaster Symphony, Joe Lovinsky of the Army Band Brass Quintet(ret.) and former Principal Horn of the Army Band "Pershing's Own", and Brad Tatum, co-Principal Horn of the Apollo Orchestra and Principal Baroque Hornist of the Washington Bach Consort.
Each night runs from 6:30 PM-9:30 PM. The Tuesday through Thursday evening will include a rehearsal(or lecture) and masterclass; Monday will include a welcoming faculty recital and rehearsal; and Friday will feature a sound check, concert and reception! Keep an out for special guests from our Military Bands on the final night!
